To be eligible for this certification the candidate must fulfill the following criteria:

As the world is evolving at a fast pace, the demand for project managers is increasing in every industry including- engineering, construction, information technology, and more. The CAPM certification has become a popular prerequisite for employers as it helps them in finding the professionals who are most suited for specific roles in their organization. This certification not only validates the candidate’s knowledge and experience but also boosts the professional credibility as well as proficiency of the candidate. Hence, attaining the CAPM certification opens up a wide range of opportunities. .

Exam Information

The CAPM examination is comprised of 150 multiple-choice questions. Of the 150 questions, 15 are considered pretest questions. Pretest questions do not affect the score and are used in examinations as an effective and legitimate way to test the validity of future examination questions.

CAPM certification exams can now be taken via Center-based testing (CBT) or Online testing (OPT).

The total duration of the exam is 180 Minutes.

The candidate can take the exam up to 3 times within one year from their application approval date. If the candidate fails the examination three times within the one-year eligibility period, then they must wait one year from the date of the last examination they took to reapply for the credential. **If your eligibility period expires without you passing the examination, you must reapply for the certification.

CAPM Certification is valid for 5 years from the date certified.
