About the course

Certified Ethical Hacker(C|CEH) is one of the world’s most advanced certified ethical hacking courses which covers 20 of the core concepts of security domains that a candidate will need to know when planning to beef up the Information Security(IS) posture of their organization. Moreover, this accredited certification program also provides advanced hacking tools and techniques used by ethical hackers and IS professionals.

Eligibility:




To be eligible to apply to sit for the CEHv11 exam, a candidate must either: a CEH certification of version 1 to 7,
● Hold a CEH certification of version 1 to 7,
● or Have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the InfoSec domain
● Or Have attended an official EC-Council training

Why should you take the cehv11 certification exam?

As we all are well aware of the fact that cybercrimes are increasing rapidly across the globe which has triggered a great need for Cybersecurity professionals. After the introduction of CEH in 2003, it became a gold standard in the field of information security. CEH training program ensures that cybersecurity professionals are trained in order to work as expert ethical hackers and penetration testers. Moreover, a certified ethical hacker can recognize the malicious attacker’s strategy and its attacking vectors.

Exam Information

The exam comprises of 125 Multiple choice questions. EC-Council Exams are provided in multiple forms (i.e. different question banks). Each form is carefully analyzed through beta testing with an appropriate sample group under the guidance of a committee of subject matter experts. EC-Council has a process to determine the difficulty rating of each question. The individual rating then contributes to an overall “Cut Score” for each exam form. To ensure each form adheres to assessment standards, cut scores are set on a “per exam form” basis. Depending on which exam form is challenged, cut scores can range from 60% to 85%.

CEHv11 certification exams can now be taken via EC-Council Exam Portal.

The total duration of the exam is 4 hours.

If a candidate is not able to pass the exam on the 1st attempt, they can immediately apply for the 2nd attempt. However, after failing the 2nd attempt there is a waiting period of 14 days for 3rd, 4th and 5th attempt. ** Candidate can only retake the examination five times in a year.

EC-Council certifications are valid for three years from the date of certification. During the three-year period, the certification must be renewed by participating in EC-Council Continuing Education (ECE) Program.
