Exam Information

PSPO I The exam comprises of 80 Multiple Choice, Multiple Answer, and True/False Questions out of which the candidate needs to score 85% to pass the exam. PSPO II The exam comprises of 40 Multiple Choice, Multiple Answer Questions out of which the candidate needs to score 85% to pass the exam. PSPO III The exam comprises of 35 Multiple Choice and essays out of which the candidate needs to score 85% to pass the exam.

Professional Scrum Product Owner certification can be taken online anywhere in the world.

PSPO I The total duration of the exam is 60 minutes. PSPO II The total duration of the exam is 60 minutes. PSPO III The total duration of the exam is 120 minutes.

If you take a Scrum.org class and attempt the certification assessment within 14 days and do not score at least 85%, you will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost.

Scrum.org certificates are lifelong and do not require any additional payments or renewals.

Prerequisites There are no formal prerequisites required for taking the PSPO I certification course. PSPO II Prerequisites Since PSPO II is an advanced course, it is recommended that candidates should have prior knowledge of at least one year of working on the role of Scrum Product Owner. PSPO III Prerequisites The candidate should successfully pass the PSM I and PSM II assessment to be eligible for taking the PSM III certification.
